Lone Jack Oyster Supper

Keeping 98 years of tradition going, Lone Jack will host its annual Oyster Supper Saturday, Nov. 6. enjoy fried oyster dinners, brisket dinners, sandwiches, hot dots and homemade pies from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Lone Jack Hensley Hall/Civic Center, located at 509 Bynum Road, which is one-half mile south of U.S. Highway 50, at the Lone Jack exit. Proceeds will benefit college scholarships, contribute to Project Linus quilts for traumatized children, assist the Helping Hands Food Pantry, and other community needs.
