DESCRIPTION:With the reduced service that Extension is able to provide due to the Covid-19 situation\, they are taking a new approach to reaching out to ag producers. In an effort to keep you informed and as MU strives to keep public health a top priority\, University of Missouri Extension is offering “Town Hall” meetings for producers in the areas of:\nHome Horticulture: Wednesdays 11am-12pm\nCommercial Horticulture: Wednesdays 12pm-1pm\nLivestock/Forage: Thursdays 12pm-1pm\nField Crops: Fridays 7am-8am\nIf you would like to participate in any of these sessions\, choose your interest area and submit your information. You’ll be sent an email with call-in information and a link if you wish to join online. The website to register is https://ipm.missouri.edu/townHalls/. Regional and state ag specialists will answer producer questions and provide a statewide update on growing conditions.If you have any additional questions\, Gene Schmitz is available by e-mail at schmitze@missouri.edu or by phone at (660) 723-3621. If you contact the Pettis County Extension office\, they will forward your calls as well.
