The Second Harvest Mobile Food Bank will distribute food at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, in Cameron. The event takes place behind the Food Pantry building, located at 302 N. Walnut in Cameron. Distribution is open to the public, while supplies last.

New Hope Methodist Church will host its Homecoming Service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 22, on Highway K in Ray County. A basket dinner and flagpole ceremony will take place after services.
The Ladies Auxiliary and Orrick Fire Protection District will host their annual hog roast Sunday, May 22. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Orrick Fire Protection District, 502 Highway Z in Orrick. All proceeds to benefit the fire protection district. Dine-in or carry-out will also be available.
