The Second Harvest Mobile Food Bank will distribute food at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, in Cameron. The event takes place behind the Food Pantry building, located at 302 N. Walnut in Cameron. Distribution is open to the public, while supplies last.

The Ray County Fair Board is hosting a Demolition Derby fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Ray County Fairgrounds. Kids can also take their Power Wheels and enter Power Wheels Derby at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults. Kids ages 8 and under get in for free. No coolers allowed.
